Classic Tours developed the concept of charity challenges in 1992 when the very first event took place. We have been operating challenges ever since and now take over 3000 people each year.

The Charity Challenge Jargon
Open Challenges:
A challenge event which is open to anyone to register to support any charity
of their choice. Any charity can promote these events to their supporters
without any minimum number of participants needed. To find out more go to the Open Challenges page.
Bespoke Challenges:
An event set up exclusively for one charity. Everyone on the event supports the same cause. To find out more go to the Bespoke Challenges page.
Consortium Challenges:
A number of charities who join together to promote one event.
Corporate Challenges:
These can be run as Open Challenges, allowing each employee to fundraise for their chosen cause, or corporately for the company charity of the year. To find out more go to the Corporate Challenges page.
How to Take Part
As a Participant:
Use the Challenge Finder at the top of the page to search for events. All Classic Tours Challenge events are listed here. You can search by date, country or event type. If you have your own charity you want to support which is not listed you can take part in an Open Challenge event.
As a Charity:
Have a think about which type of event is for you – open challenge or bespoke. If you’re new to charity challenges then an open challenge event would be a great place to start. There’s no financial risk to you and all you have to do is promote the event and we’ll do the rest. Call Megan on 020 7619 0066 ext 208 for more information. If you think you can find 30 people to do one challenge then a bespoke event is for you. Call Charles on 020 76619 0066 ext 211 for details on bespoke challenges.
