This brand new world-class £220m oncology wing which replaces Cookridge Cancer Centre, opened in December 2007 and will deliver unparalleled levels of cancer treatment and care to a catchment area of 2.2m people. Our capital Appeal to raise £10m in three years will further enhance facilities for Yorkshire cancer patients and ensure that this superlative Centre – the largest of its kind in Europe – remains at the leading edge in cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
