Meet Dr Ian Fawcett, Consultant Medical Advisor
 |
I am a keen fell walker in the UK and have been a doctor on treks in Europe and in the Himalayas since 1990. I retired as an NHS consultant physician in 2005 after a wide experience of general and respiratory medicine and then joined Classic Tours as a volunteer doctor before being appointed as consultant in 2008. My work involves advising on the suitability of events for individuals with medical problems and organising meetings and teaching for the many volunteer doctors who help on our challenges. I enjoy working with an enthusiastic and experienced team at Classic Tours to keep our events first class. |
